Drop in for a Christmas crafting session, inspired by our colourful and creative exhibitions.

Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Christmas Colours

Be inspired by the colours and shapes in the exhibition Toi Koru, the work of amazing contemporary artist Sandy Adsett. Then come and join us to make some equally colourful tree hangings.

Tuesday 19 December

It’s in the Basket

These cute mini baskets are the perfect holder for Christmas chocolates, candy canes or strawberries! Sit them on a table or hang them on your Christmas tree.

It’s a Woolly Christmas!

The joy-filled artwork of Lissy and Rudi Robinson-Cole are our inspiration for woolly Christmas trees and mini wreaths.

Joy in Jandals

We will be basking in sunshine this Christmas so why not sling some jandals on your Christmas tree!

Museum Mice

‘… not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.’ But mice are stirring at Waikato Museum today! Make your own mice to dangle from your tree (guaranteed not to nibble on your Christmas treats).
