Have you admired the koowhai flowers in our Exscite: Home garden? Now you can make your own!

This free activity will show you how to make paper versions of koowhai that you can add to our garden or take home with you.

All children must be supervised by an adult.

Entry to Exscite

Exscite is Waikato Museum's interactive centre for discovery. It's a hands-on space where tamariki can play and learn through tactile and immersive surroundings. Build something new with our big Lego bricks, connect the circuit wall to make the lights sparkle, or gather around the firepit to share stories.
