Strategic Plan to identify direction for Waikato Musem

A Strategic Plan is being developed for Waikato Museum Te Whare Taonga o Waikato. This is a great opportunity to identify the future direction of Waikato Museum with input from our stakeholders. 

Hamilton City Council recently adopted the Hamilton Plan, which includes a goal ‘To be celebrated for our arts and culture’. There are also strong links to the River Plan  with the Museum being located on the banks of the Waikato River in the cultural precinct of the central city.

The objective of the Strategic Plan is to realise the opportunities and potential of Waikato Museum, while acknowledging our financial parameters, as a place of great pride to the people of the Waikato and a world-class destination in Hamilton.
