A night with the Hamilton Astronomical Society
28 May 2021
6pm-7.30pm
Free event
David Bland of the Hamilton Astronomical Society leads a discussion about the Galilean moons and Galileo’s pivotal role in developing the telescope. Hear about the planets, constellations, and galaxies visible in the night sky above New Zealand. After the talk, take the opportunity to peer through a telescope. If the conditions are right, you just might see stars, planets and satellites.
