11.15am Mary Wilson, Senior Diversity and Engagement Advisor from Office of Ethnic Communities (OEC) on behalf of Catherine Austin (Director OEC)
11.20am Cultural performance by Kalaniketan Dance Group
11.30 Acknowledgment by New Zealand Indian Central Association President, Mr Bhikhu Bhana
1pm Highly acclaimed Indian diaspora guru Dr Todd Nachowitz from Waikato University will be presenting his findings on the earliest Indian presence in Aotearoa dating back to 1769
2pm Henna design demonstration - Sejal Patel (henna artist)
