Te Atinga Waikato Symposium 2020

A symposium for Te Atinga artists following on from the Puhoro ō mua, Puhoro ki tua exhibition and the 9th International Indigenous Artists Gathering at Turangawaewae.

Bookings are essential for the full day symposium, but the following two events are open to the public (koha welcome):

 

Toi Ora - Panel Discussion

“What are the new platforms for Maaori Artists?” A selection of art professionals including writers, dealers, lending institutions and those that have created international profiles, will share dynamic possibilities for building your creative career.

Kutu Koorero - artists presentations

Five contemporary Maaori artists expose their creative practice in tight turnaround presentations, with an opportunity to find out more from them towards the close of the session.
