The Cambridge Brass Quintet with assistance from the Cambridge Auxiliary Band will present “Dawn” by leading New Zealand composer Chris Artley.
In 2014 the Australian and New Zealand governments offered a prize to Australian and New Zealand composers for the best settings of authentic Gallipoli texts by WW1 veterans as part of the centenary celebrations of the Gallipoli landings.
Chris Artley's 'Dawn' is a musical setting of words by Australian WWI soldier Ellis Silas.
Zealong are joining us on ANZAC Day with tea tasting from 11am to 2pm. It is to support the Anzac Tea Collection we now have in the museum shop and offer a cuppa to our visitors
