Country Calendar: 50 Golden Years

11 June - 11 September 2016

Free entry

Nostalgia rules as the nation’s longest running television series salutes its 50th anniversary in an exhibition exclusive to Waikato Museum. Country Calendar is renowned for highlighting the diverse people, places and occupations that make up our nation’s rural sector.

Country Calendar: 50 Golden Years looks at the unique mix of information and personal stories that have made the show a consistently high rating and much-loved local television production. The exhibition includes artefacts, audio and video. While there is an emphasis on Waikato-based Country Calendar stories, the exhibition gives an overview of the programme's nation-wide lens.
