Taking Tea with the Artist - Yvonne Todd on Gilbert Melrose

The images in this exhibition were taken by Gilbert Melrose in 1957 at the annual Children’s Fancy Dress Ball at the Walton District Hall, near Matamata. The dark room hand prints were made by Melrose’s second cousin, contemporary photographer Yvonne Todd. Enjoy the rare opportunity to join Yvonne Todd and her father, Murray Todd, in a conversation on the work and life of their relative and fellow photographer Gilbert Melrose.
